Here are some of the best nearby activities if you are staying at Reunion Resort.
Walt Disney World
Our resort is located only six miles from Walt Disney World and its four theme parks. The parks are open every day of the year and offer fun for your whole family. Walt Disney World includes Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom was the first park to open in Disney World. It features many of the classic Disney characters and has the iconic Cinderella Castle. This park is known as the most visited theme park in the world, with more than 50,000 visitors each day.
Epcot
Take a trip around the world and visit eleven different countries with your family at Epcot. This park is the most relaxing of the Disney theme parks. You won’t find any thrill rides, but you can take a boat ride and explore and learn about each country represented. Try cuisine from the different countries, including food from Morocco, Norway, and Japan.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach Water Park, and Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are also all nearby.
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
If you are a fan of sports, check out Orlando’s ESPN complex. While the city doesn’t have its own football team, the Atlanta Braves hold their spring training at the complex and there are more than 200 sporting events held at the complex throughout the year. The complex has a tennis complex, a football stadium, a track & field complex, an ESPN store, and a sports grill.
Cinépolis Polk County IMAX
When it’s too hot to be outside or if the rain is pouring, you can enjoy the cool indoors of the Cinépolis Polk County IMAX. This 9-screen IMAX theater is located in the Posner Park Shopping Mall. The movie theater is new and has big comfortable seats and a concession stand with unique snacks, burgers and hot dogs, and a bar that serves alcohol.
