Orlando’s Best Local Bars
For an unusual, rollicking musical experience and creative drinks served in a bucket, head to Howl at the Moon. This is no ordinary piano bar. Featuring an upbeat party vibe and hilarious dueling piano shows, Howl at the Moon can’t be beat for a casual yet high-energy atmosphere full of fun and laughter.
Fans of board games and poetry will want to head to The Milk Bar Lounge, where you will find an impressive selection of international and domestic beer, poetry slams, live music, and an array of board games. There’s also an adorable wanna-be bartender there named Buddy, but he’s got limited abilities because he has no thumbs—he’s a dog!
For a super-cool underground (literally) bar with awesome live music and great drinks, check out Tanqueray’s, which now fills the largest cellar of any downtown building; the space was originally a 1920s bank vault.
On the opposite end of the vertical spectrum, head to The Monkey Bar martini lounge for spectacular views of downtown Orlando.
For a classic tavern atmosphere complete with taxidermy animal heads, kick back at The Lodge and enjoy a great selection of craft beers and cocktails.
