One of the newer additions to the year-round waterparks is Aquatica Waterpark Orlando, owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. This is a waterpark unlike any you have ever seen before, and as such, it is sure to make for some of your family’s most unique memories. The park includes mat rides, raft slides, multi-person family raft rides, lazy rivers, wave pools, and children’s areas.
Amazing Rides at Aquatica Waterpark Orlando
It begins with some of the best slides you will find anywhere. You can experience the incredible speed and thrills – slides that drop riders sharply from multiple stories in the air. In the park’s signature ride, the Dolphin Plunge, you’re in an enclosed slide that tunnels through a pool containing a pod of dolphins.
There are also some incredibly unique rides that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. One of the best of these is the brand new water adventure, Ray Rush, opening this spring. It provides three different ways to slide. First, water jets get the speed going to launch your raft, and after some twist and turns you spin inside a giant water sphere. Last, swoop around into the big Manta wings taking you to a different part each time.
The Perfect Place to Relax
There is plenty at Aquatica for the adrenaline seekers out there, but it is also an amazing place to have fun and relax. There are a few different pools and ‘beaches’ where you can relax on the shore and wade in the cool waters. Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores provide two massive wave pools and plenty of space to relax on the shore under some shade. Loggerhead is the park’s lazy river and provides one of the best ways to relax as you can enjoy a slow ride through amazing scenery and massive aquariums. Kata’s Kookaburra Cove is the perfect place for the young ones to have fun. There is something for everyone here.
Aquatica Waterpark is located right across the street from SeaWorld on International Drive and Water Play Way, and with the purchase of a SeaWorld ticket, you get automatic admission into this amazing place.
