ORLANDO THEME PARKS

Orlando is home to more than a dozen theme parks including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando & SeaWorld. Our vacation properties are close to the Gates of Disney and all other attractions and theme parks in the area.

HAVE FUN!

Admit it—when you think of Orlando, the first thing that comes to mind is Walt Disney World, the crown jewel of theme parks. But did you there are many, many more theme parks in Orlando that are just as fun, if not more so? This Central Florida city is home to over eighteen different theme parks, all exciting, all fun, and all inviting you to visit and see what all the fuss is about. Discover the kid in you when you explore all that Orlando theme parks have to offer!

Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios gives you the chance to explore the worlds of some of your favorite movies or television cartoons; visit the Simpsons at Krustyland, experience everyone’s favorite softhearted ogre with OgreVision on Shrek 4-D, or save the universe as you kill aliens on the Men In Black Alien Attack interactive ride…so much fun you won’t want to leave at the end of the day!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The highlight of Universal Studios is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where you can ride the Hogwarts Express through London to your destination at the magical and mysterious Islands of Adventure. Watch out for the Jurassic Park dinosaurs as you make your way to the screamingly wild Incredible Hulk Rollercoaster!

Volcano Bay

One of the most exciting water parks ever has hit the Orlando theme park scene: Universal’s Volcano Bay. This latest addition to Universal’s collection of fun spots is the ultimate in slides, rides, waves and waterfalls. We don’t know how the engineering magicians at Universal did it, but they actually managed to create a water rollercoaster.

Legoland

If you have children between the ages of 2-12 (or any 40-year-old husbands), a trip to Legoland might be one of the best theme parks Orlando has to offer them! Featuring tons of rides, a beach retreat, a water park, and, of course, a gazillion Legos, this wonderful theme park will stimulate the imagination of kids of all ages.

More Water-Based Theme Parks

But wait, there’s more! Slide through a dolphin habitat on the Dolphin Plunge at Aquatica Orlando; this park has 38 slides and is an aquarium too! Snorkel at Discovery Cove while you enjoy encounters of the watery kind; dolphins, otters, fish, and stingrays all call this little slice of heaven their home. However, plan carefully if you want to visit Discovery Cove, as they limit guests to just 1,300 per day. And finally, ride the rides and meet the world-famous killer whale, Shamu, at SeaWorld Orlando… it doesn’t get much better than this.

Walt Disney World

No story about Orlando theme parks would be complete without mentioning Disney World, which is comprised of four different theme parks: The Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney also offers other theme park attractions in the Orlando area along with 27 themed resort hotels.

The Magic Kingdom Park

The Magic Kingdom Park is Disney World’s classic original park that all the other Disney parks grew from. Upon entering, Cinderella’s Castle beckons you through its magical doorway, and you step into a fantasy world like no other. Rollick through classic Disney at Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square; the kids will love meeting the Disney characters that roam through the park!

Epcot

You can travel around the world, under the sea, and even through the solar system without ever leaving Orlando! Epcot is dedicated to human innovation, achievement, and world culture. Get a fascinating glimpse into the future through the interactive presentations and rides that abound at Future World, and explore eleven different countries at World Showcase.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Put yourself in the middle of blockbuster Hollywood action at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Featuring tons of movie-based attractions, rides, characters, and entertainment, this theme park has all of the fun and thrills you would expect from a Disney park but has the added benefit of Stormtroopers.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

This isn’t just a zoo. Explore exotic locales and the wild world of rare—and in some cases, make-believe—animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can fly through the world of Avatar on the back of a mountain banshee, ride the Kali River Rapids, blast through the Himalayas, trek through the jungle and see live exotic animals… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Other Disney Parks

Get wet and wild at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. After a day of rides and slides, enjoy amazing food, shopping, and entertainment at Disney Springs or Disney’s BoardWalk.
