Gatorland in Orlando
Welcome to Gatorland in Orlando, the undisputed alligator capital of the world. This 110-acre theme park is home to an incredible collection of alligators and crocodiles, as well as featuring a wildlife preserve for wild cats and hosting an open-air aviary chock full of exotic birds. Visitors can get up close and personal with baby “grunts” in the Baby Gator Marsh and then venture into the Breeding Marsh to feed more than 2,000 adult alligators and crocodiles (some as big as 14’) that call Gatorland home.
The Wildest Experience at this Alligator Park in Orlando
Gatorland is more than just an alligator park. This incredible attraction is devoted to wildlife conservation for all native species as well as raising awareness of these formerly endangered crocodilians. From shows demonstrating the raw power and sophisticated behaviors of these animals (as well as a good old-fashioned gator wrasslin’ show) to hands-on encounters with these fascinating reptiles and their snake cousins, you’ll laugh while you learn. For the softer side of Gatorland, be sure to visit the petting zoo and the wildcat enclosure, home to Florida Panthers Neiko and Lucy as well as two Florida Bobcats, Osceola, and Abiaka. At the aviary, you can walk amongst parrots, cockatoos, macaws, flamingoes, and budgerigars. In the spring, Florida birds such as herons and egrets come from far and wide to nest in the protected waters of the Breeding Marsh, utilizing the crocodilian bodyguards as protection for their young.

Exotic Experiences
In addition to the animal park and the unique wildlife encounters it offers, this alligator park in Orlando also features fun adventures for the entire family. The Screamin’ Gator Zip Line lets you careen at up to 30 mph over swamps full of massive crocodiles and adult alligators. You’ll traverse over 1,200 feet of zip lines at heights of up to 65’ while taking in incredible views of the park and surrounding wilderness. The Stompin’ Gator Off-road Adventure takes you into the deepest reaches of the park aboard customized, 12-foot high swamp monster vehicles. Complete with singing tour guides, swampy surprises, and hilarious pitfalls at every turn, it is a ride unlike any other in Orlando.
